Welcome to my practice

I am licensed Creative Arts Therapist with virtual private psychotherapy practice based in Brooklyn, NY. I help my clients address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, relationship issues, and work related stress. I work with individual adults (age 24+) and young adults (age 18-24).

Given the ongoing developments in the post-pandemic world, I am offering teletherapy sessions via Zoom. Zoom is a HIPAA compliant video conference platform.

In my sessions I offer both verbal therapy and art therapy, using a collaborative, strength-based approach. I utilize multiple modalities including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and working with relationship attachment styles. I provide a safe and comfortable environment that promotes self awareness and personal growth.

I believe that every person has the innate ability to heal. I am committed to tapping into my client’s inner resources and uncovering their full potential.

At this time I am taking new clients. I would be happy to discuss what brings you to therapy and any goals you might have.

About Me

For over nine years before private practice, I worked with adults, children, and adolescents in a variety of mental health settings. I worked in New York City public schools with at-risk high school students, with emotionally disturbed children in their homes, with chemically dependent adults and their children, and with families and adults in intensive outpatient clinics. I was also a site director in a supportive housing residence for formerly homeless adults. A common thread among all of my clients was the desire to make sense of their lives and to find new methods and pathways towards healing.

“Our job in this lifetime is not to shape ourselves into some idea we imagine we ought to be, but to find out who we already are and become it”

— Steven Pressfield, The War of Art
